Late Night at the Gym

Are you interested in learning new skills and participating in various forms of exercises, recreation, and physical expressions? Do you have jam-packed schedules throughout the day and have time to work out only at night? Are you an international student who misses playing your favorite sport back home? Are you determined to work out but find the machines and stereotyped exercise routines boring? Or …do you simply want to have fun? If you answered, "yes" to any of these questions or all of them, you've found the perfect place to work on a healthy mind and body.

"Late Night at the Gym" is the place to be! In addition to the usual recreational opportunities you find at the gym, we have a wide range of innovative and fun activities lined up for you. Keeping in mind the diverse student population at SU, we have specially picked some popular international sports for you to try out. It's also a great opportunity for you to interact with people who have similar recreational interests

This year's Late Night at the Gym experience features the following events:

Indoor Soccer: Every Saturday night in the Flanagan Gym.

Salsa Dancing: Late Night at the Gym offers exciting dance lessons, which are great exercise and loads of fun. Join us for Salsa lessons and let your hair down for a while.

Yoga: Yoga has proven to be one of the best stress-busting techniques. Come over to the gym and learn techniques that will help you achieve physical, spiritual and mental well - being. Our instructors will help you practice exercises for flexibility and body strengthening and teach you breathing techniques and relaxation methods.


Late Night programming is also happening at the Tennity Ice Skating Pavilion.
