Goldstein Fitness center located in the lower level of the Goldstein Student Center has a variety of treadmills, ellipticals, climbers, and excercise bikes. In addition there is a full circuit of Cybex weight machines and free weight units available for use.

Melo Center

Recreation Services and Athletics are partnering to offer open basketball hours at the Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Center (Melo Center), attached to Manley Field House. Students can use the basketball courts in the Melo Center for pick-up basketball on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. starting Thursday January 24. Please note, street shoes are not permitted on the courts. Players must carry basketball shoes inside to change before playing. SU ID required. No admittance after 10 p.m.

The Skytop recreation area consists of 20 tennis courts, two basketball courts and one field in addition to two sand volleyball courts that are located behind the Goldstein Student Center.  

Tennity Ice Skating Pavilion

The pavilion houses a pro shop, a skate rental shop and a skate sharpener. The ice is used by the hockey and figure skating clubs, women's division I ice hockey team, intramural hockey and broomball leagues, classes conducted by the Department of Recreation Services and the Department of Health and Exercise Science. Special group reservations and ice rentals are available to Syracuse University affiliates.

Individual and Family Use
Syracuse University and ESF students holding current and valid ID cards will be admitted to the Pavilion at no charge.

The following individuals who hold valid ID cards may be admitted to the Pavilion by paying an admission charge and are eligible to purchase passes of varying options.

SU and ESF Faculty and Staff, Spouses and Dependents.
Domestic Partners of full time Faculty and Staff.
SU Alumni Card Holders (picture ID required and the Alumni Card required).

Outdoor Education Center and Challenge Course

The Outdoor Education Center and Challenge Course located on South Campus, near the Inn Complete, offers a variety of teambuilding and group problem solving initiatives, as well as a low and high element outdoor challenge course. Challenge your group to engage each other in a unique learning environment and build relationships, establish trust and commraderie, as you move thorugh a series of activities, designed to help take your group to the next level, both literally and metaphorically, as you ascend the outdoor challenge course.
